Version 2.1 October 2026

Start a trip from a rate confirmation or bill of lading, steer your IFTA miles, and get more out of every receipt.

New features

  • New trip from a rate confirmation or BOL — On Add Trip, tap the scan icon and take a picture of the document, choose photos, or choose the PDF the broker e-mailed. The broker, load number, rate and every stop -- pickups and deliveries with dates, places and BOL and reference numbers -- are read in. Check them on one screen, and the stops are added to the Trip Plan when you save. Then attach the document to the trip in one tap.
  • Share to Trip Sheet Central — From Mail, Files or Photos, share a rate confirmation or bill of lading to Trip Sheet Central to start a new trip from it.

Improvements

  • PO / Order # on every stop — The broker's load number goes on each stop of a trip from a document, so it prints on the invoice.
  • Receipts saved with the expense — A scanned or chosen receipt is saved to the trip's documents (trip expenses) or the expense's own documents (office expenses, maintenance) as a small PDF. Receipts can also be chosen as a PDF, such as one saved from an e-mail.
  • Fuel and DEF on one receipt — Scanning a fuel receipt that also has DEF fills in the fuel's share, and saves the DEF as its own expense with its gallons.
  • Quantity on every trip expense — Not just fuel: tolls, scale tickets, DEF gallons and more can have a quantity, including decimals.
  • Any receipt date — An older receipt keeps its date, and dates printed without a year ("Thu, Sep 24") are read too. On a trip expense, a date well outside the trip is filled in with a note to check it; quarterly trips (like 2026-Q2) accept any date in the quarter.
  • Gallons and amount from truck-stop receipts — Gallons and amounts are read more accurately from truck-stop receipts.
  • Nothing you typed is overwritten — If a receipt or document reads a field differently from what you entered, you're asked which to keep.
  • Better shipper matching — A stop's shipper is recognized even when it's on file under a slightly different name at the same address. Adding a shipper from a stop now puts the new shipper on the stop.
  • IFTA miles you can steer — Tap the tracking note, then Review Miles to see the miles so far while tracking keeps running. Stopped too soon? Continue Tracking picks the same trip back up. Started tracking after leaving a state? Add a State lets you enter its miles. The app asks "Are You at the Pickup?" when you start, and warns you before saving if the tracked miles look short of the trip's miles. Tracking you forget to stop ends 36 hours after you last started or continued it.
  • City, state and zip from the receipt — A receipt that prints the city and state but no zip now fills in the place too, with that city's first zip. Check it.
  • Vendors from the receipt — The store name is matched to your vendors by its common name, so "LOVES STORE # 3445" finds Loves Travel Stops. If the store isn't on your list, the app offers to add it, with its name and place filled in.
  • Expense type from the receipt — A meal, scale, toll, parking or other non-fuel receipt on a new trip expense sets the expense type for you. A note says so; change it if it's wrong.
  • Receipt Not Saved says why — When a receipt couldn't be saved with its expense, the message now gives the reason, and scanned receipts save reliably.
  • Receipt store names — The store is found more reliably, even on receipts that start with a logo or print the whole address on one line, so the vendor and expense type fill in more often.
  • Clearer messages — When a vendor, broker, shipper, truck or company profile can\'t be saved or deleted, the app now says why instead of "Something Went Wrong".
  • Document titles from file names — Choosing a PDF for a trip document fills in its title from the file name when you haven't typed one.
  • Sign-in screen — The sign-in form sits in the middle of the screen, and the Password field is no longer cut off.
Version 2.0 September 2026

A rebuilt app with new ways to add trips, work offline, track IFTA miles, and get help.

New features

  • Copy this Trip — start a new trip from an earlier one, with the same route, broker, freight charge, truck and drivers. Use the button at the top of a trip's details, or swipe a trip on the Trips list.
  • Quick actions — press and hold the app icon for New Trip, Copy Last Trip, Add Maintenance and Add Office Expense.
  • Siri and Shortcuts — say "New trip in Trip Sheet Central", "Copy my last trip in Trip Sheet Central" or "Add maintenance in Trip Sheet Central".
  • Reminders — in Settings > Preferences / Reminders, turn on reminders for IFTA return due dates and for your drivers' CDL and medical card expiration dates (30 days before, 7 days before, and on the day).
  • Home-screen widget — this year's trips, loaded miles and fuel, your latest trip, and a New Trip button.
  • Receipt scan — on a new trip expense, office expense or maintenance record, scan a receipt or pick a photo, and the amount, date, gallons, place and vendor are filled in for you. The receipt is read on your phone and is not uploaded.
  • Profit per mile on the Dashboard, with the year's revenue. These are the same figures as the website's dashboard. Tap it to see how it is worked out.
  • Works offline — with no signal, new trips, trip expenses, office expenses and maintenance are saved on your phone and sent automatically when you are back online.
  • GPS IFTA miles — track a trip and the app works out the miles driven in each state for your IFTA report. Your route stays on your phone.
  • User Manual in the app — Help / Support > User Manual has Getting Started plus the complete iOS guide, with large type, search, and quick jumps between sections. It works offline.
  • Help / Support — the User Manual, What's New, About and emailing support, all in one place. Support emails include what we need to find your account.
  • Settings > Preferences — your personal preferences from the website (Trip Delete, rows per page, trip report columns and PDF theme) are now in the app.

Improvements

  • Zip codes are now required with every city and state, the same as on the website.
  • Trips and expenses are saved with the same rules as the website, with one clear list of anything missing and each missing field marked.
  • Redesigned forms — clearer fields, section headings, "$" on money fields, "Optional" on optional fields, and pickup and delivery dates side by side.
  • Calendar date picker with Clear and Done buttons.
  • IFTA filter — only years and quarters that have IFTA data can be picked.
  • Faster Dashboard — it no longer reloads every time you come back to it.
  • Dark mode — follows your phone's Light/Dark setting, or pick one in Settings > Appearance.
  • Swipe to delete trips and expenses from the lists (if your login is allowed to delete them).
  • Settings and My Business are redesigned into clear groups, and search fields and lists are tidied up.
  • Rebuilt with the latest Apple tools for reliability.
